Enjoy a day of deep sea fishing off of Portugal’s Sesimbra Coast on this experiential tour. Meet your crew at the Sesimbra Harbor, then try your luck at catching mackerel, red snapper or sea bream and learn proper baiting techniques. Along the journey, you’ll see the Arrabida and National Sea Reserve, Espichel Cape and hidden beaches and coves.

Coasteering is a recent activity, mainly in Portugal. It is an activity in which one crosses the coast line, swimming, climbing, jumping into the water and walking. This activity allows you to discover scenarios and nooks that otherwise are impossible to see. In this specific activity we also conjugate rapelling and other rope maneuvers such as zipline and banisters. At the end of the activity the group will arrive at one of the wild beaches of Sesimbra and from there will be boarding a speedboat returning to the Port of Abrigo de Sesimbra.

In this late afternoon tour, we observe the Bay of Sesimbra Panoramic view of the sea and we can also identify some points of interest such as the Fortress of Santiago, the Castle and Marcos de Milha among others. We continue westwards along the coast to contemplate the beauty of this section of the Arrábida Natural Park. Towards the beautiful Ribeiro do Cavalo Beach, where we will drop iron, we observe details of the coves of the Marine Reserve Prof. Luiz Saldanha and the Forte do Cavalo highlighted by his Farolim. You can take a dip or enjoy the scenery while we serve a drink on the Ribeiro do Cavalo beach. After this relaxed moment, we return to the port of shelter entering the Bay of Sesimbra that welcomes us at dusk.  In the "Charter" modalities we can also, for the additional cost of € 15 / pax prepare a snack with 2 drinks included (subject to prior reservation).

We can see the Bay of Sesimbra Panoramic view of the sea and we can also identify some points of interest such as the Fortress of Santiago, the Castle and Marcos de Milha among others. We continue to the fantastic Bay of Armação, from where we can observe the untouchable slopes of the Marine Reserve Prof. Luiz Saldanha, and from here, heading West, we will pass by the Fort of the Horse navigating to the magnificent beaches of Cova da Mijona and Ribeiro do Cavalo. There are stops for swimming in the beautiful waters of Arrábida, or simply enjoy relaxing on our deck enjoying the views and the Sun having a drink that we serve with appetizers. Ahoy Portugal will choose to explore the East or West zone of the Arrábida Natural Park and the Prof. Luiz Saldanha. Traveling west, we can see from the sea some of the following places: Bay of Sesimbra, Ribeiro do Cavalo Beach, Cova da Mijona Beach, Inferno Beach, Praia da Baleeira Fort, Cabo Espichel Lighthouse among others. Going to the East, we can observe some of the following places: Bay of Sesimbra, Pedra do Leão, Cova da Armação, slopes of Serra do Risco, Alportuche Beach, Lapa de Santa Margarida, among others. The crew can also choose to sail to Portinho da Arrábida, Pedra da Anicha, Praia dos Coelhos, Galapinhos Beach and Galápos Beach, if there are favorable conditions. There are always planned stops to swim in the beautiful waters of Arrábida, or simply enjoy relaxing on our deck enjoying the views and the Sun having a drink that we serve with appetizers.

This tour is designed for those who are prepared to carry out a longer navigation and may face some maritime adversity. We will sail to the magnificent Tróia Peninsula, which will take us on a journey of about 2 hours of navigation through the maritime channel of entry into the Port of Setúbal. We leave Porto by the Bay of Sesimbra, we pass by the Cova da Armação and we begin our course to Troy. As we move away from coast and along the course we will see in the background emblematic points of the Natural Park of Arrábida and the Marine Reserve Prof. Luiz Saldanha, such as: Serra do Risco, Portinho da Arrábida, Arrábida Convent, Galapinhos Beach, Figueirinha Beach, Outão Sanatorium, Setúbal City and São Filipe Fort, among others. . Reaching the Peninsula of Troy, we crossed the Marina and saw the magnificent Caldera and some vestiges of Roman Ruins. Arriving at our paradisiac destination we take advantage of swimming and relaxing in the sun!

We started the kayak tour at Praia da Califórnia, crossing the beautiful bay of Sesimbra passing through the Fort of Santiago, overlooking the Castle of Sesimbra, towards the Forte do Cavalo lighthouse. Along the way you will find crystal clear waters and a lot of marine life surrounded by a breathtaking landscape! Huge cliffs, caves and nooks up to Praia Ribeira do Cavalo, Gruta do Tamboril and other bays with sea access only. We stopped at Ribeira do Cavalo Beach to relax, take pictures and enjoy the surroundings. This route is more than just a walk, it is an experience and contact with nature! Espichel Cape is famous for its geological wealth and country’s unique limestone formations. In this boat tour we’ll depart from Sesimbra to Espichel Cape and, along our tour, we’ll visit the caves and geological formations that cover this coast. We’ll visit Tamboril grotto with its zenithal lighting and crystal clear water, Frade grotto entrance – one of the biggest cave formations and galleries or the “Mesas”, geological formations made by marine erosion. We’ll end our boat tour to the Sesimbra´s caves with a visit to the monumental Arco da Pombeira grotto in Espichel Cape walls and to the “Bifa”, a singular geological formation at the cape’s feet, where we can see the sea being expelled as if it was a geyser. On return we’ll stop for some snorkeling or SUP in Baleeira bay crystal clear waters!

The sighting of dolphins in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience, suitable for all ages. We are often greeted with their thrilling stunts, games and jumps.
