Long, long day

The history of the pyramid and city we're very interesting. The total excursion was 13-1/2 hours for us as we were picked up at playa del carmen. (Hard Rock) of that time, 8-1/2 hours were spent in a cramped bus.

We were picked up early in the am, had 4-5 stops before heading to destination. The bus was new and clean with a bathroom-very nice. The guide was informative but there was lots of selling of things by the guide who he made pitches for and guided us to his selling friends when we got off the bus-a big put off. We did not have time at Chichen Itza to walk around on our own. The lunch was good-typical Mexican cuisine. The Tequila tasting is another opportunity for them to sell expensive liquor to people. The highlight was the Cenote which was refreshing and beautiful. Long trip back....

A nice trip

We had a nice visit of Chichen Itza, Marcos was a nice tour guide and having a local like Roberto as a guide for the visit itself was a nice plus. The visit of Valladolid was not worth much as we couldn't leave the bus, but the Cenote was great.

Everything was just great! Long day but very well worth it! Very family friendly. My 11 year old daughter loved everything. I skipped out on the tequila tasting but other than that no complaints!

Not willing to work with customer when extenuating circumstances occur

I booked this tour after checking the ferry schedule from Isla Mujeres. On the day before the tour was supposed to leave, I found out that the ferry would not depart until an hour after the listed time. I was not able to make it to the meeting point and Viator refused to refund me any of my money. I would not recommend working with this company.

Dear KRB Thank you very much for your comments. I can't quite understand the problem. However, whenever we can support customers who have an incident, we do it, but there are also cases in which it is impossible for us to support them due to operational issues. We hope to be able to serve you again in the future. Dulce, Amigo Tours

I had such a great time && learned so much! I left totally mind blown! The guides were so funny && knowledgeable. I would although recommend bringing snacks && a lot more water than you would expect! The drive was super long so that’s where the snacks came in. Definitely would also say to purchase from the pyramid site because it so cheap! They’re outside all day in the heat. Such an amazing tour!

Great day exploring the city
Daniel_C

Whole trip was fantastic. Walking through the ancient city was great. If it’s a hot day bring plenty of sunscreen and water. There is a cafe before you go inside if you skipped breakfast. Everything at the buffet lunch was delicious. Tequila tasting and cenote swim done at same location. Bring a change of clothes and a towel and you will be okay. Marco from Amigo Tours was a great guide and host - very intelligent and funny. Thank you!
