After greeting your guide and LGBT group in Commerce Square (Praça do Comércio), you’ll receive an introduction to Lisbon’s rich heritage and culture. Admire the ornate arch that heralds the entrance to Rua Augusta — a sophisticated shopping street — and hear about the 18th-century earthquake that devastated the square.

At a leisurely pace, you’ll explore the historic district of Alfama — an ambient tangle of cobbled streets, colorful townhouses and fado bars — and admire the intricately tiled floor of Rossio Square.

See, too, the monuments of the Baixa and Chiado neighborhoods, and stop regularly to capture photographs and chat with your fellow travelers. This tour is aimed at LGBT travelers and their friends to ensure you enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and meet likeminded people.

Maria National Theater are two points to see. Then you will start climbing again ... this time you with your guide will choose 1 of the 2 ways: either by Chiado or By Jardim São Pedro de Alcântara towards the last phase of your visit.
