Walking in the rain and having fun

from what we hear it does not rain a lot in Portugal, like it did on the day of our walking tour. Andrew our guide was not dampened by the rain. His knowledge of the city and love for sharing his stories was infectious. On almost every street he could find something interesting to point out to us. By the end of the walk we were all completely soaked and some shivering from the cold, but not one of us did not appreciate Andrew's commitment to tells us the story of Lisbon and for all of us to fall in love with the city. Thank you Andrew and to the rest of our group for making walking in the rain through the streets of Lisbon, so much fun. We should mention that we were late to arrive and Andrew and the group waited for us.

The walking tour was incredibly good! Rui is very knowledgeable concerning the history of Portugal as well as present facts. He took me around Lisbon to places where there were almost no tourists around and explained in detail the history of these places. I not only enjoyed the tour but learned quite a few things I did not know.

Beatriz and I had a very cozy tour in January, as it was off-peak season, it was just us on this tour! She is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the city, and made every stop interesting and hilarious! We have the same sense of humor and able to find it, even in tragedy. The walk is hilly, but mostly downhill from the starting point. We had a coffee stop and was able to sit down when needed. Awesome tour!
