Returns to original departure point
Greet your guide at your central Lisbon hotel and board an air-conditioned coach. After cruising along Liberty Avenue towards Rossio, you’ll arrive in the Alfama district and disembark to taste fine wine in a wine shop.

Next, head to Praça do Comércio to see the regal statue of King José I riding his bronze horse. Continue to the shore of the Tagus River to ogle Lisbon’s famous Monument to the Discoveries and Belém Tower before you visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Jerónimos Monastery.

Browse the Coach Museum’s noteworthy collection of elegant coaches, some 200-years-old, or visit either neoclassical Palácio Nacional da Ajuda (Ajuda Palace) or the Casa-Museu Medeiros e Almeida if your tour is on a Monday.

Before discovering the fairytale palaces of Sintra, stop for lunch (own expense) at a local eatery and then head to the National Palace of Sintra — a candy-colored gem that reigns resplendent on its hill-top perch. Take a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed monument with your guide before exploring the charming town of Sintra independently.

Then, enjoy leisure time to wander through the charming town on your own. From here, drive to Colares and learn about local wine-production from your guide.

Finally, soak up the sights as you drive from to the Estoril Coast; admire golden beaches near Cascais Bay and see Cabo da Roca, Europe’s westernmost point. Conclude your tour with the dramatic image of waves crashing into Hell's Mouth cliff (Boca do Inferno) before heading back to Lisbon.

Trip not as advertised. Hotel pick up was on time. However, we hurried to a spot to stand around and wait around Grey Line buses. The first part of the tour was a quick trip through Belem and Alfama. The poorest moment was when the Port wine tasting advertised as included in the price of the tour, was, in reality, a free sample at a tourist shop see photo. The Lisbon city tour was a bust and left little time in the afternoon for the Sintra and seaside tour which amounted to mostly shots from the bus. The trip, I understood was advertised to run until 6 PM. However, we didn't arrive back until closer to 8 PM, which didn't upset our schedule, but it was another surprise. The whole trip was, in fact, two tours, and the guide miraculously spoke in 4 languages, Portuguese, Spanish, German and then English. The majority on the bus listened to the first 1-3 languages, by the time it got to English, the guide seemed out of steam. I don't believe we got the full report of what was said in the previous three languages and while we were listening in English, the remaining groups were speaking and at times we were unable to hear the report in English. I wouldn't recommend this tour as it was not as advertised, I had to self-advocate to get the provided hotel drop off, and the tour guide herself said the tour description I paid up for was not the same as she was operating. I have been happy with previous Viator tours in South Africa and Egypt and expected a European tour to be offered by the same quality service provider, however, I was sadly disappointed. I feel I lost a whole day visiting Lisbon and found little of the day to be redeeming. I signed up for a free walking tour offered in the city and would suggest others do this as well rather than pay this service. A smaller bus trip and more time in Sintra and touring the seaside, dropping off at better locations would have been better than what was offered to us.

Very disappointed. My tour was supposed to be A Lisbon Sintra Estoril coast and Cascais tour. We spend an absurd amount of time in a church in Lisbon and again only saw the palace (in detail and in 3 languages) in sintra. The guides very lovely and very knowledgeable...which is what the one star is for

Lisbon sighting seeing after the fact you can do on your own everything is close to each other. It's so rushed so if you want to enjoy it go on your own. The other tours were very nice only thing is that they mixed the English and Spanish tours together so they spoke in Spanish first by the time they translated in English the attraction had already long passed by so we didn't get to see it. This happened a lot during the drive to the sites. Actual places where nice but not enough time again we were only given 20 minutes per stop sometimes 15 minutes so you feel rushed. Not enough time to enjoy the place and buy souvenirs.

I must say I was very disappointed with this Super Saver Tour. Took this tour on Oct. 10. It was pricey and we got only 10 mins in each place to take photo-shoot as the guide said. We only got to see the Belem Tower from a very far distance. Did not get to go close at all! We visited only the church of the Jeronimos Monastery, but not the Monastery itself. The tour said it included the free hotel pickup and dropoff. However we had only the pickup, but not the dropoff as I think the bus driver and guide were eager to go home after a long day! The guide Luisa is not knowledgeable. She did not give much history of the places we went. I think Cascais and the most western point in Portugal should have been in a different tour.

In spite of the name, there's no Lisbon sightseeing tour. More like a drive by of places on the way out to the freeway. 4 stars because Sintra is worth the money and time.

Enjoyable tour but please note that you will not be seeing the Moor castle everyone raves about in Sintra - you get to see only the palace. The other stops like Cabo Roca were nice also and the guide was really nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. If I had more time I would spend more time seeing all of the Sintra ruins because it is really interesting but time is limited with these one highlight tours.

Great tour for your first visit to Lisbon to get a quick overview of key sites. Be aware that some places are closed on a Monday. I think the tour of the palace is a little long and can be a little boring when you have to do Sintra as well. How many old bedrooms can you go google eye over. The afternoon tour is a lot of bus riding. Sintra is a gorgeous town and area. The tour in the afternoon is quite a bit of bus riding but the scenery is beautiful. Love the city of Cais Cais. I would definitely recommend for a first time visit to Lisbon. I would do it again.
