Private Driver around Lisbon - Customizable Tour

Excellent private day tour to wine region around Lisbon. Driver was professional. Good recommendation for lunch.

Luis is a lifetime resident of Lisbon and was an excellent guide. We met at the airport when I arrived and he drove to the key sites with perfect English descriptions of the sites and history and dropped me back at the airport in plenty of time to catch the next flight.

I am SO glad I did this! I had several hours in Lisbon before a connecting flight to Spain and didn't want to waste a minute in this amazing city. Cesar was my guide and I had such a wonderful day with him. He had suggestions for our itinerary but was also completely open to mine (highly recommend lunch at the Time Out Market!). He was friendly and knowledgeable- and a safe driver ;) This experience was worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Jose met us at the airport. He gave us an execellent tour of Lisbon on our first day. He was very accomidating, knowlegable, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He helped us decipher our first menus and suggested an excellent lunch. Would highly recommend.

My driver was willing to meet me at 5:55 am on January 1st New Year's Day to take me on a layover tour -- that in itself is an example of extreme dedication and was greatly appreciated! Furthermore, my flight was delayed by 1 hour so our allotted time was really cut down to only 3.5 hours total to depart and return to the airport, which is obviously not ideal. However, the driver was able to work with the circumstances and still took me around the entire city, walking me through the detailed history of Portugal from the time of Magellan to modern day events. I had a great experience and would highly recommend.

Our driver was fantastic. We had the whole day as our flight was at 9pm. We were picked up on time at our hotel in a very nice van, there were 4 of us and lost of luggage. We had saved our last day to go to Sintra and Cascias. We were hungry and he stopped in the town of Sintra at a great local place for coffee and breakfast. He took us to the castle, waited as we toured Pina Palace at our leisure. We then hiked the Moorish Castle. He then took us on a scenic drive to Cascais. He took us to a lovely spot for lunch overlooking the beach, then we went to see Cabo da Rocha and The Boca do Inferno. We then walked around the city of Cascias while he waited for us. The day was lovely, perfect way to end our trip. We were dropped off at the airport for our flight. I HIGHLY recommend using this company, it was the best money spent. We traveled with our 2 son's in their 20's and they enjoyed the day as well.

My itinerary is actually London but because I flew in through TAP Portugal it is mandatory to have a stop in Lisbon. I had a 8-hr layover in Lisbon, by choice becoz I did want to go and get some authentic pastel de nata. Surprisingly I got more than that. After last minute google search I found this day tour published in Viator website. I did a last minute purchase of day tour in Lisbon. My original plan was to do a solo adventure in Lisbon but I decided not to because I dont want to miss my connecting flight to London. Avenidas and Jose came to my rescue. I did a 6-hr private tour of Lisbon. Jose was on time in our meeting place and was very welcome. He speaks very good English and very passionate about the tour and of course about Lisbon. He drove me around with no sweat. He answered all my questions about Portugal. I loved the history he shared with me about Portugal and Lisbon specifically. He shared my pastel de nata adventure. Sadly time was not on our side for he have to take me back to the airport in time. I would definitely recommend Jose. He made me feel welcome and safe the whole time. I told Jose I will go back to Portugal and reach out to him. Thank you Jose!

He was very patient while we were delayed coming through customs due to a lost bag issue. We highly recommend Jose for anyone considering Avenidas. You will not be disappointed.
