Got to see a lot!

I felt like I really got to see a lot on this tour. It included more than I was expecting! The tour guide was great. He spoke 3 different languages on our tour fluently. Very impressive! I should have dressed more warmly or brought more layers with me. The places on the coast were really windy. I would have liked a little more history and fewer current events. It seemed like a lot of the topics were about how expensive of a hotel was and not so much cultural, historical, religious, geographical, that sort of thing, and I personally just like learning about that more than new fancy hotels. I think this tour said it would include Regaleira but didn't. I asked the guide about that and he said we were just seeing one Palace: Pena. My favorite thing was that the guide offered to take me to a gorgeous, relaxing beach while the others ate because I wasn't hungry and brought a snack with me. It was really nice of him to make that accommodation so that I was able to enjoy what I really wanted to. The beach was so peaceful! Thanks for the adventure!

Great day out

We had a great day out. There were 6 of us so we ended up being the whole group, which allowed us some flexibility with what activities we wanted to do. This was a great little day trip and we particularly enjoyed Cascais.

Sintra & Cascais

We had a wonderful day out. Picked up from the apartment we were staying at taken in a minibus with four other tourists. Our guide was very knowledgeable, telling us about various historical and cultural points we passed along the journey. We visited Cascais, Boca de Inferno, Cabo da Roca, Sintra town and the spectacular Pena Palace. We had plenty of free time to explore all of the locations we visited. It was a great way to see several interesting places.

No pressure tour

Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. I appreciated the fact that he didn’t pressure us to patronise particular restaurants or stores as some do since they get commissions. He recommended some places to eat and left us alone. It was a relaxing tour. Only thing is this tour doesn’t allow time to visit the interior of the Pena Palace. There was a long queue to enter the palace when we were there in late December. We visited the grounds which were beautiful. Caiscais, a small fishing village was quaint. I recommend this tour if you want something small ( 8 of us in a mini van), personable and relaxing.

Poor quality guide
Carambolia I
, Jan 2020
Very poor quality. We had Bruno as guide but we was just like a driver but not a guide for price of a guided tour:only 4-5 small stories during whole day that were poorer than we found ourselves in Wikipedia to read about the places. Moreover we had some route changed unexoectedly that resulted in a 9 hour trip insread of 8: it happened because Bruno didn't know about the planned city marathon and some roads closed - we think he should have known this

Hello dear customers, Let's clarify the situation. Guide Explanations About the 4 or 5 stories that guide Bruno told you, this is not true. Maybe you only understood 4 or 5 stories, since in your group only one person spoke English and badly. This also justifies their having been helped by Wikipedia. Tour Duration The tour lasted really 9 hours and not 8. That's because you asked Bruno to make an exception and allow you to visit Quinta da Regaleira, too. Something that is not included in the program they bought. 99.9% of customers would be delighted to have one more hour of tour and visit an extra monument. About the marathon In Cascais there was really a marathon that closed the road to Boca do Inferno. So that they would not miss the opportunity to see the place, Bruno changed the program well. So they lost nothing. 99.9% of customers would have mentioned in the review that the guide, despite the embarrassment, allowed them to see everything. I also inform you that the information Bruno gives clients is more reliable than what they find on Wikipedia, since Bruno and all our guides have specialized training to provide the best experience for tourists visiting Portugal. I am available for any clarification, should you wish to request.
