Sandra and Luis were absolutely exceptional! They really know and love their city and love to share their knowledge and affection. We covered all the main sites of Lisbon and had a wonderful time in Sintra. Sandra was extremely helpful all along the way, and Luis provided excellent color to her play by play. I could not recommend this tour more highly.

This was one of the best tours we ever had! This private tour was conducted by No Maps Tours, and it was guided by Sandra. Luis was the driver of a very comfortable Mercedes minivan with good air conditioner and wifi on board. Together they provided one of the most wonderful and unforgettable experiences for us! We started with the hightlights of Lisbon, and then we visited the beautiful resort areas of Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. In Sintra our guides took us to a very cosy bakery where we had a local “pillow” pastry and coffee. They also recommended where we could get a good lunch. At Sintra we also had some time to walk around and shop for souvenirs. After lunch we drove to the town of Belem where we saw the medieval tower of Belem, the gorgeous Belem cathedral and the famous Monument of Discoveries. At Belem we also stopped at the famous Pastry of Belem bakery where we tried a delicious custard pastry with the most wonderful hot chocolate and coffee. Throughout the whole 8 hour tour both Sandra and Luis were very professional, friendly, spoke wonderful English, and they showed a great knowledge of thier native Portuguese culture and history. We learned a lot and had a great introduction to this wonderful city and country! We liked them so well that we bookes another tour with them for the next day which was wonderdul as well. We would highly recommend this tour and No Map Tours company. You will get a great value and a wonderful experience with them!

Sandra and Luis gave us a fantastic tour! Our ship was a bit late getting into port, but Sandra was there waiting for our group of 6. They had a detailed plan arranged for the day, spoke very good English and showed us many highlights, but a 6-7 hour tour is much too short to see all these beautiful places. Some of the highlights were - Voyage of Discoveries Belem Pastry shop since 1837 Sintra and Cascais - quaint, historical towns, so beautiful. Sandra provided a lot of historical facts throughout our tour. She and Luis were very informative and were able to answer all our questions. Too bad our ship arrived so late, as the later part of the tour was after dark - still nice, but daytime would have been better. We were very happy with everything - hope to return some day. Many thanks again!!

We had an excellent private tour of Lisbon and Sintra with our guide Sandra and the driver Louis. They greeted us at the ship, and took us straight to the top of the hill to Sintra. From there we toured the coastal areas and back to the central part of Lisbon. They knew all the shortcuts to avoid the traffic and all the other big tour buses. They timed it so we were always in front of the crowds of tourists. They both spoke excellent English, and were very knowledgable on the history and culture of the area. We really enjoyed this small personal tour because it was much easier to hear everything that was said. My husband has a hearing loss, and doesn't always hear everything on the larger tours.

We had a great time visiting Sintra, Cascais and Lisbon. Aided by Sandra's seemingly endless knowledge and passion of the area, the day was always interesting and insightful - an education for us all. Given the chance sampling the local delicacies Pastéis de Belém and Sintras Travesseiros are a must and guaranteed to ruin any diet! Not forgetting Luis, our driver throughout, who ensured our safe journey between sights. Thanks.

We had a wonderful day in Sintra and Lisbon!! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and really worked around our schedule since we had limited time off of a cruise ship. We also discovered other towns in Portugal that we loved along the way! We will be going back there next year to visit again because there is still so much to see!!

My husband and I did the private tour to Sintra with with Sandra and Luis. This excursion has been the highlight of our 2 week cruise. The Pena palace and Cascais natural park were a must see on your trip to Lisbon. Sandra is passionate about history and gave us a deeper appreciation of the areas we visited. Luis, her husband was our driver very capable was reliable and guarded our belongings in the van while we walked our tour. These two make a 5 star team!!
